On March 19, Stephen Harper’s Conservative government tabled its second budget. Because it’s a minority government, there was much speculation that if the budget was defeated it could trigger a federal election. Arrest in a 1964 Mississippi Cold Case
In 1964 two black teenagers in Mississippi were murdered, allegedly by members
of a racist group known as the Ku Klux Klan. Two men were arrested but later
released. One of them, James Ford Seale, was later believed to have died. In this
News in Review story we’ll look at how a Canadian discovered that Seale was still

Fashion and the Dangerously Thin
Obesity is a major problem in Canada. But while shedding a few pounds can
sometimes be a healthy choice, being too thin can be bad for you. Doctors have
been noticing an increase in eating disorders, and some of them blame the fashion
